Your Role: Investment Analyst
Are you passionate about investment strategy and market analysis? Do you thrive in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment? As our Investment Analyst, you’ll play a pivotal role in driving our investment strategy. Working closely with our Investment Manager you’ll support in evaluating new opportunities to monitoring and managing our diverse portfolio.
BNF is a small team working in an open-plan state of the art office; because of our working style, the successful candidate will be exposed to and involved in varied work with a massive opportunity to grow in capability. The diversity within the team is vast, meaning you get to work with individuals from all backgrounds with different experiences and knowledge.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Monitoring and reporting on our portfolio, liaising with fund managers, portfolio companies, and partners.
- Analyse financial statements, valuations, and market trends to identify risks and opportunities
- Maintain investment records, cap tables, and due diligence, ensuring every detail is up to date.
- Explore new opportunities by attending conferences, building networks, and conducting in-depth research.
- Perform rigorous analysis and due diligence on prospective investments, preparing compelling memos for the Investment Committee.
- Collaborate with the Investment Team to develop themes that shape our portfolio.
- Prepare detailed performance reports and insightful commentary to keep stakeholders informed.
What We’re Looking For:
- A degree or equivalent experience in financial services.
- Proven experience in an Investment Analyst role, ideally with exposure to global markets.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills with the ability to think critically and act decisively.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build relationships with key stakeholders.
- A proactive, driven attitude with an eagerness to learn and adapt in a dynamic environment.
- An understanding of accounting principles and fund investments is essential.
- A keen interest in current affairs and how they influence global markets.
Bonus Points:
- Proficiency in another language.
