About The Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Technical Writer to create comprehensive, user-friendly documentation for our SaaS survey platform. The ideal candidate will have market research background and a strong background in technical writing and a deep understanding of software applications. This role involves working closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to produce clear, accurate, and engaging documentation that helps our users effectively utilize our platform.

What You’ll Do

Documentation Creation:

  • Develop, write, and maintain detailed user guides, API documentation, release notes, and other technical content for our SaaS survey platform.
  • Create and update knowledge base articles, FAQs, and troubleshooting guides to address common user queries and issues.

Content Strategy

  • Collaborate with product managers and development teams to understand new features, enhancements, and changes to ensure documentation remains current and relevant.
  • Develop and implement a documentation strategy that aligns with the company’s goals and user needs.

User Experience Focus

  • Write clear and concise documentation that caters to both technical and non-technical users, ensuring ease of understanding and usability.
  • Incorporate user feedback to continuously improve the quality and effectiveness of the documentation.

Quality Assurance

  • Review and edit documentation created by other team members or departments to ensure consistency, accuracy, and adherence to company standards.
  • Conduct thorough testing and validation of documentation in collaboration with the QA team.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with UX/UI designers, developers, and other stakeholders to gather information and insights necessary for accurate and comprehensive documentation.
  • Participate in regular meetings to stay updated on product changes and to provide input on documentation-related matters.

Tool And Process Improvement

  • Evaluate and recommend tools and technologies to enhance the documentation process and improve content delivery.
  • Develop and maintain documentation standards and best practices to ensure consistency across all content.

What We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in Technical Communication, English, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Proven experience as a Technical Writer, preferably with a focus on SaaS platforms or similar software applications.
  • Strong understanding of SaaS concepts, survey platforms, and API documentation.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Proficiency in documentation tools such as MadCap Flare, Adobe FrameMaker, WhatFix , or similar.
  • Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) and version control tools (e.g., Git).
  • Ability to grasp complex technical concepts and translate them into user-friendly documentation.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Experience with survey platforms or related domains preferred
