Job Summary

The Healthcare Analyst I helps the analytics department through management of the activities related to the development, enhancement, help, and maintenance of the suite of programs utilized to provide analytics across the organization, providing leadership and coordination to small and medium projects. The Healthcare Analyst 1 motivates the team; serves as a subject matter experienced and maintains positive working relationships across the system. The Healthcare Analyst I helps assigned projects by conducting data testing and implementing process improvement to assure timely and successful project completion. The Healthcare Analyst 1 will also provide help for training, communications, and stakeholder help.

SALARY

The pay range for this position is $24.40 (entry-level qualifications) – $41.28 (highly experienced) The specific rate will depend upon the

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE ROLE

  • Helps advance, implement, and achieve analytic department goals and desired outcomes, providing practical and relevant ideas and insights.
  • Collects requirements for each project/request accurately and proactively.
  • Communicates effectively with requestors and service providers, addressing questions or issues promptly and professionally.
  • Helps rollout of new analytic tools, products and visualizations in support of organizational initiatives and priorities, including identifying necessary changes to the data and presentation, developing specifications, reviewing vendor deliverables, and evaluating customer acceptance.
  • Help staff and stakeholder training webinars; provide insight and guidance on updates and enhancements; provide timely help on training presentations; and assist in stakeholder training.
  • Accountable for development of domain deliverables utilizing agile methodologies to manage and maintain tracking of projects.
  • Accountable for managing work and projects, managing reporting on all projects.
  • Implements new or modified reporting methods and procedures to improve analytic content and completeness of information.
  • Produces quality work in a fast-paced environment, meeting deadlines and team member expectations.
  • Effectively negotiates deadlines when necessary and communicating changes to manage expectations.
  • Performs other position appropriate duties as required in a competent, professional, and courteous manner.

KEY SUCCESS FACTORS

  • Experience in healthcare administration or related field preferred.
  • Experience using data visualization tools, Power BI preferred.
  • Experience with Agile Methodologies.
  • Experience with Service Now.
  • MS Office Suite Proficient Experience in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Demonstrated strengths working in a dynamic, ambiguous, and ever-changing work environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
