What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)

• Pre-register and schedule patient appointments for assigned services with appropriate providers
• Direct calls to the appropriate area for services not provided in Centralized Scheduling
• Receive requests for information and ensure timely distribution of materials
• Schedule, admit, and pre-authorize insurance for all patients in the assigned area
• Collaborate with team members to enhance patient experience and operational efficiency

What Is Required (Qualifications)

• Two or more years in a direct customer-facing sales or service setting
• Exceptional communication skills and ability to remain calm in critical situations
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends

How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

• Associate’s Degree or completion of a medical terminology program
• Two or more years of experience in a medical setting
• Familiarity with healthcare scheduling systems
• Bilingual skills, enhancing communication with diverse patient populations
• Previous experience in a call center or centralized scheduling environment
