Job Description

QRIDA is seeking an individual with demonstrated ability to provide client-focussed services such as providing application support and enhancing organisational capabilities, including the ability to investigate, troubleshoot and resolve application issues, knowing when it is appropriate to elevate matter to a higher level. As the Business Applications Support Officer, you will administer QRIDA’s core loans and grants administration system and other application systems.

Key Responsibilities And Duties Undertaken By The Role Include

  • Maintaining system inputs including user and user access, and system parameters.
  • Maintaining role/position based permissions and access structure for users in line with QRIDA Information Services policies.
  • Maintaining user account security in accordance with QRIDA Information Services security policies and procedures.
  • Developing and maintaining administration processes and information to assist in the effective and efficient administration of the application.

The Queensland Rural and Industry Development Authority (QRIDA) is a specialist provider of government financial and advisory support to rural and regional Queensland.

As a statutory body of the Queensland Government we have been helping primary producers and industry recover from natural disaster, improve sustainability and profitability, make a start in business, and overcome difficult conditions, for more than 30 years.

As the Queensland Government’s experts in rural finance, we also administer the State Government’s Farm Business Debt Mediation program, the Farm Debt Reconstruction Office, conduct a biennial Rural Debt Survey, undertake research and provide advice to the Minister for Natural Resources and Mines, Minister for Manufacturing, and Minister for Regional and Rural Development.

QRIDA is empowered under the Rural and Regional Adjustment Act 1994 to deliver additional programs and services across a range of industry sectors and to local, state and territory governments throughout Australia and for the Australian Government.
