About Aethos Corsica

Aethos Corsica is located in Haute-Corse, in a 17th-century palace near Saint Florent and was recently completely restored to its former glory. The palace sits atop the spectacular village of Oletta, one of the most beautiful villages in Corsica, with views sweeping across the entire northern bay of Saint-Florent and its beaches.

Overview

Aethos is looking for an amazing Room Attendant (m/w/d) to join our team. The most successful candidate will have an authentic passion for the hotel industry, and a record of success in the hospitality industry. It is the mission and intent of this position that the incumbent will take full responsibility for the tasks that are given in all aspects of the Housekeeping operation and maintenance of the hotel’s service standards.

The Room Attendant is responsible for the overall cleanliness of all guestrooms that they are assigned to clean. The Room Attendant is equally responsible for delivering all of the Aethos Hotels service standards.

The Room Attendant will report directly to the Head Housekeeper and Front Office Manager.

The candidate must be a true ambassador of the Aethos brand.

Job Description

  • – Reading and assimilating the tasks assigned by the Housekeeper each day
  • – Anticipating the needs of the clientele (laundry service, mini-bar consumption, reception products…)
  • – The application of the service standards of the Housekeeping of the luxury hotel industry (cleaning of rooms, beds, bathrooms, toilets, common areas…)
  • – The cleaning of the annexed premises (reception, work area, swimming pool area…)
  • – Delivery of breakfasts in rooms
  • – Occasional help with breakfast service in the room

Profile

  • – With an excellent presentation, you are characterized by your dynamism, your relational ease and your sense of service and cleanliness but also by your rigor and your attention to detail
  • – You show discretion, honesty, efficiency and speed
  • – Experience in the luxury hotel sector would be a significant plus.
  • – Speaking French and/or English at least
  • – Strong operational/technical knowledge
  • – Excellent overall communication skills
  • – Able to multi-task
  • – Strong desire to provide excellent guest service
  • – The ability to work well in a team environment
