We are looking for a Senior Finance Controller to join our Finance team in Germany. Ideally, you bring experience from the IT industry and/or audit, and are ready to make a significant impact in a dynamic environment.

This is you

• Senior professional experience (> 8 years) in finance, accounting, or related fields.
• Strong ability to manage and handle P&L statements, balance sheets, and business KPIs.
• Advanced analytical skills with the ability to interpret and communicate complex financial data.
• Autonomous, detail-oriented, and structured approach to work.
• Exceptional service-oriented and recipient-oriented communication skills on an international level.
• Excellent command of the English language (both written and spoken).
• Expertise in MS-Office tools, particularly Excel, and proficiency in Business Intelligence (BI) tools.

Nice-to-have Skills

• Knowledge of German is advantageous
• Knowledge in Datev (German accounting system) and MS 365 Dynamics advantageous

This is your role

• Monthly Closures and Planning: Oversee monthly financial closures, budget preparation, and forecasting processes.
• Financial & Business Reporting: Take ownership of financial and business reporting, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and ongoing improvement of processes and tools.
• Ad-Hoc Enquiries: Provide support in processing and addressing ad-hoc financial inquiries from senior management.
• Year-End Closure Activities Support year-end closing with the finance team, ensuring compliance and accuracy in financial reporting.
• Business Development Analysis: Conduct continuous analysis of business performance, identifying key deviations, trends, and potential risks.
• Business Partnering: Act as a trusted business partner for managers across Finance, HR, Delivery, and Commercial departments.
• Interdisciplinary Project Collaboration: Collaborate on cross-functional projects, including international initiatives like ERP implementations, ensuring financial aspects are integrated into planning and execution.
