General Summary
Responsible for performing clerical support duties involving the processing of legal documents and requiring current knowledge of legal procedures in the assigned area. Assists the public and attorneys with legal processes and procedures. Checks files and papers for accuracy and conformance to related laws, completeness, and may sign for judge as authorized. Prepares and processes court documents required in arranging cases for hearing in court and in preparing court orders. Utilizes current countywide and/or department specific software to complete assignments.
Required Minimum Qualifications
- Must be a high school graduate or have a certificate of successful completion of the General Educational Development (GED) Test.
- Have had at least two (2) years of full-time clerical work experience in a court setting.
Pay Range
USD $43,091.00 – USD $57,734.00 /Yr.
