Position Overview: Research Associate I/II – Exosome Production Team
A position is immediately available within our Research group for a Research Associate I/II to support the Exosome Production Team and assist in process Development efforts for existing research studies. The successful candidate, under the direction of a supervisor, is responsible for data collection, analysis, and other in vitro and in vivo related tasks.
Responsibilities
- Conducting literature reviews.
- Collecting and analyzing data.
- Maintaining accurate records of data, safeguarding the confidentiality of subjects, as necessary.
- Summarizing experiments and data.
- Providing ready access to all experimental data for the team researcher and/or supervisor.
- Requesting or acquiring equipment or supplies necessary for the project.
- Managing and responding to project-related emails.
- Preparing, maintaining, and updating website materials.
- Attending project meetings.
- Attending area seminars and other meetings as necessary.
- Summarizing project results.
- Preparing progress reports for the PI.
- Preparing other articles, reports, and presentations.
- Monitoring the project reagents and materials.
- Tissue harvesting and submitting samples for histology.
- Sterile tissue culture.
- RNA/DNA isolation from cells or tissues.
- Flow cytometry analysis.
- Performing PCR, qrt-PCR, or other basic molecular biology techniques.
- Performing such other duties as may be assigned to you from time to time.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required; preferably in the biological sciences (or experience in biology research).
- Ability to work as part of a team and complete experiments, analyze data, and provide results to end-users in a timely fashion is required.
- 1+ years of sterile tissue culture experience.
- Cell culture and molecular biology skills are required.
- cGMP experience preferred but not required.
- Experience with flow cytometry, functional assays, DNA, RNA, and protein analysis is preferred.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a dynamic environment.
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize work.
Work Environment and Physical Demands
- Comfortable working in a professional office/lab environment, with occasional remote work opportunities.
- Ability to sit and use a computer for extended periods.
- May require lifting of materials up to 20 pounds.
- Must be able to handle laboratory equipment and perform lab procedures which may include standing for extended periods.

Compensation (USD)
Salary Range: $60,000 – $70,000 annually
