Summary

The Vice President Integration plays a critical role in ensuring the successful integration of the newly acquired Massachusetts entities aligning cross-functional teams and managing large-scale integration projects to ensure the stability enhance operational efficiency and business performance. He/she is responsible for the strategic planning design implementation and ongoing management of clinical financial and operational integrations across Brown University Health ultimately leading to better patient outcomes improved patient experience and enhancement of the delivery of healthcare services across the continuum of care.

Responsibilities

Strategic Planning:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive integration strategy aligned with business needs identifying key integration points and priorities.
  • Assess current operational landscape identifying potential integration gaps and opportunities for improvement.
  • Define integration architecture and standards to guide project development and maintenance.
  • Leads the implementation of comprehensive strategies that foster integration across clinical operational and technological domains.

Project Management

  • Lead cross-functional teams across IT business units and vendors to manage complex integration projects.
  • Establish project timelines budgets and deliverables ensuring projects are completed on time and within scope.
  • Monitor project progress identify risks and implement mitigation strategies.

Stakeholder Management

  • Collaborate with business leaders to understand their requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Communicate integration plans and progress updates to key stakeholders.
  • Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts related to integration projects.

Operations And Maintenance

  • Establish processes for ongoing monitoring and support of integrated departments
  • Address integration-related issues and provide timely resolution.

Cross-Functional Collaboration And Communication

  • Develop collaborative relationships with executive leadership and department heads to drive results and build-out of capabilities.
  • Create and execute transparent organization-wide communication to keep all stakeholders informed and engaged in the integration process.
  • Lead change management and implement key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor the success of integration focusing on identifying areas for improvement leveraging data analytics to inform decision-making to improve patient outcomes cost reduction and overall system performance.

  • In a highly complex system environment must be a systems thinker who is focused on advancing the entire organization. Collaborative team player who looks for opportunities to align diverse constituents.

Education

Bachelor?s Degree Required

Master?s degree in healthcare administration business administration or a related field.

Seven plus years of experience in healthcare management particularly in areas related to healthcare integration quality improvement efficient clinical operation and financial management within a large complex healthcare setting.
