Job Objective

The Digital Solution Officer will be responsible for promoting & selling Groz-Beckert’s Digital Quality Management Product & Services (INH) to garment manufacturers and sewing factories. The INH is a hybrid product requiring expertise in both hardware and software. The Digital Solution Officer will be responsible for ensuring the successful implementation of the INH solution and providing technical support to the customers. In addition, customer and market feedback will be gathered to further develop the product with a focus on customer needs. Finally, a high level of collaboration is required between customers and the internal sales, marketing and INH teams.

Key Responsiblities

  • Develop and execute sales and marketing strategies for INH to approach garment manufacturers and sewing factories
  • Identify and engage with potential customers, including visiting factories
  • Attend industry events, including those for digital and smart solutions in the textile sewing industry
  • Implement the INH Solution with its software and hardware components at the customers site and track and report on key product metrics
  • Work closely with the customer’s teams to ensure that the solution is implemented successfully
  • Provide customer support and training on the use of the Ideal Needle Handling system
  • Develop INH training materials and documentation to support successful product implementations for your colleagues
  • Collect and evaluate customer feedback on an ongoing basis and provide recommendations to the INH product development team to shape the future of the product
  • Carry out market research to keep up to date with industry trends and initiate competitive analysis to identify new opportunities for the further improvement of INH
  • Work closely with customers, partners and internal sales, marketing and INH teams to further develop INH
  • Be closely connected to our INH teams in SEA, our hub in Singapore and also the headquarter in Germany

Job Requirements

  • Planning and delivering software implementations for customers is a must.
  • Knowledge of software development methodologies and tools such as Scrum, Jira or Confluence is essential.
  • Experience working in the textile sewing industry, ideally in a sewing factory production environment is preferred.
  • Affinity with process analysis at the shopfloor of a sewing factory, process design and translation into software requirements is necessary.

Personal Attributes

  • Excellent problem solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex issues relating to customer processes in a sewing factory.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams and customers.
  • Comfortable with national and international travel is a must.
  • A very good command of written and spoken English is required.
