Role Overview:
As Marketing Generalist at Miter, you will be instrumental in scaling our inbound marketing efforts during a period of rapid growth. You’ll own key initiatives across content, digital marketing, events, and ABM campaigns to help drive high-quality leads for our sales team. Working closely with our product and sales teams, you’ll create compelling narratives that showcase Miter’s value to construction companies. You’ll step into a business with product-market fit and a clear growth trajectory, but with massive opportunity to build and own critical parts of our marketing function.
Responsibilities:
This is a dynamic role spanning all parts of our growth funnel. You’ll focus on prioritizing, executing, and monitoring projects. Examples include:
- Driving our content engine by writing and managing the creation of SEO-optimized blog posts, case studies, and thought leadership content
- Managing our social media presence, particularly developing and executing our LinkedIn content strategy to build brand awareness
- Creating compelling customer success stories and case studies by interviewing customers and documenting their journey with Miter
- Supporting the planning and execution of industry events and webinars to generate qualified leads
- Running and optimizing paid digital campaigns across multiple channels (LinkedIn, Google) with a focus on ROI
- Executing ABM campaigns including direct mail, LinkedIn targeting, and gifting programs for target accounts
- Designing and executing experiments across marketing channels to evaluate their success and inform future strategies
- Maintaining our marketing assets including website content, sales collateral, and digital content library
- Tracking and report on key marketing metrics to continuously optimize campaign performance
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of B2B marketing experience, preferably in SaaS or enterprise software
- Strong writing and content creation skills with experience in SEO best practices
- Experience managing social media channels and creating engaging social content
- Background in running paid digital advertising campaigns and analyzing campaign performance
- Project management skills with ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously
- Experience with marketing automation and CRM platforms (HubSpot, Salesforce)
- Data-driven mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Interview Process:
Our interview process is thorough — we aim to ensure each person that joins the team is the right fit for Miter and will provide ample information for you to assess if Miter is the right fit for you. The general interview process at Miter will consist of the following steps:
- Intro Call with Recruiting – 30 Minutes
- Hiring Manager Interview – 30 Minutes
- Take Home Assignment / Presentation / Live Coding – 60 mins
- 1:1’s with the Team – 30-60 mins
