Role Overview
The Director of IT is a key member of the organization, and is responsible for implementation, administration, maintenance, support and budgeting of the organization’s cloud, network, hardware and software infrastructure across stores, corporate and manufacturing facilities. The successful candidate will have experience and significant knowledge in managing vendors, budgeting spend, delivering a stable environment, and managing a verity of IT related projects. Lolli & Pops has recently acquired Hammond’s Candies and there will be a resulting ERP integration or change as well as a need to build and manage data intelligence across the two brands.
Specifically, the Director of IT will have the following responsibilities:
- Build and manage data intelligence across two existing brands due to a recent acquisition.
- Assess ERP needs across the newly combined entity, recommending upgrades or transitions as appropriate.
- Work with vendors to install, configure, administer, and support hardware and software for retail locations, including hubs, switches, routers, firewalls, network monitoring tools, configuration backup tools, network elements, printers, software and wiring.
- Troubleshoot and provide solutions for network, software or hardware problems, sometimes working across multiple vendors or teams to solve inter-service issues.
- Manage multiple vendor relationships and oversee their deliverables.
- Budget and manage the IT organization’s spend across vendors.
- Responsible for PCI compliance and maintaining security for all PII and PCI information.
- Perform maintenance and upgrades on a timely basis to maintain healthy systems.
- Assist in updating, maintaining and testing network disaster recovery plans, processes, and procedures.
- Create and maintain training materials, standard operating procedures and documentation for hardware and software installations.
- Manage helpdesk organization team including an outsourced team.
Qualifications
- 4-8 years of experience managing vendor relationships and budgeting spend.
- 3+ Experience with IT project management.
- Broad knowledge of IT infrastructure, software development lifecycle, networking and hardware.
- Experience managing, maintaining and reporting on a PCI compliant network infrastructure.
- Experience with LabTech or other remote management software is a strong plus.
- 4+ years of experience in AWS cloud platform technologies.
- Outstanding academic record. Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in engineering or computer science.
- Proactive by nature. This job will have a high degree of autonomy. Must be able to work independently while communicating progress with management.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem solving skills.
- Experience in a retail environment a plus.
- Ability to lift, push, pull, or carry 50 pounds.

Compensation
Lolli & Pops offers a hybrid work environment, and employees are asked to be in the office three days per week. The office is in the Cherry Creek neighborhood in Denver, Colorado. We offer a competitive benefits package and flexible time off.
The expected starting pay range for this position is $150,000-180,000. Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on several factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and equity.
