As our Art director, you’re the hands-on creative that guides the look and feel of our projects in areas like fashion, lifestyle, and hospitality. A significant part of your role is centered around crafting engaging and relatable content. You have a talent for creating creative concepts and turning them into visual stories that truly speak to our clients’ needs. In our fast-paced agency environment, you’re known for being approachable and flexible, adapting quickly to new challenges while keeping projects on track. Collaborating closely with designers, content creators and other creatives, you lead by example, blending practicality with creativity.
Responsibilities

In this role, you will play a crucial part in working together with a dedicated team for a new client, specializing in lifestyle and pet-related products. Your primary responsibility will be to build and strengthen this new collaboration, ensuring a seamless integration of your expertise with the client’s vision. You’ll work closely with fellow team members to offer support on a daily basis. Your focus will be on fostering a strong partnership, by using your creative skills to make a difference in this exciting and growing sector.
- You play an essential role in the strategy, conception and design of campaigns & content projects (design, video, photography).
- You have design skills and use your visual background to visualize your ideas and inspire others.
- You create a strong vision for your projects and have the ability to bring this to life with your team.
- You listen to and respond to briefs, and question where there are gaps: pro-active in your approach and challenging the client in this.
- Manage and delegate responsibilities to other creatives and provide directions.
- Understand marketing initiatives, strategic positioning and target audiences.
- You are confident in being client facing, presenting your creative work to both internal and client stakeholders, have the ability to deliver your ideas and being the creative go-to on accounts you work on.
- You will be responsible for reviewing work and giving constructive feedback to the team you’re working with.
- Stay on top of all trends, maintain best practices and update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities.
You Bring To The Table
- Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, branding, marketing or related field.
- You have at least 2 to 3 years of experience in an agency work environment, with a focus on design, concept development and/or content creation.
- You have full knowledge and the skills of using the Adobe Cloud.
- Executive proven skills in graphic and creative design.
- Understanding of strategy, branding and marketing principles.
- Experience as creative lead in photography & video productions (pre, production, post).
- You are someone who stays on top of trends in content, design and branding.
- Have an excellent eye for detail.
- Have great communication skills (verbally and written) and the ability to pitch your ideas with confidence;
- Are fluent in Dutch and English. ?
