Electro Mechanic

Brief description

An electro-mechanic is a professional who combines knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems to maintain, repair, and troubleshoot machinery and equipment.

Tasks

  • Diagnosing problems: An electro-mechanic must be able to identify and diagnose problems with machinery and equipment by using diagnostic tools, schematics, and manuals.
  • Repairing and replacing faulty parts: Electro-mechanics must be able to repair or replace faulty parts, including mechanical, electrical, and electronic components.
  • Maintaining machinery: Electro-mechanics must perform routine maintenance on machinery and equipment, including cleaning, lubricating, and adjusting parts.
  • Testing and inspecting: An electro-mechanic must perform tests and inspections to ensure that machinery and equipment are functioning properly and to identify potential problems.
  • Operating machinery: An electro-mechanic must be able to operate various types of machinery, including electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment.
  • Documenting work: Electro-mechanics must document their work, including repairs, maintenance, and inspections, and keep accurate records of parts used and work performed.
  • Following safety protocols: An electro-mechanic must follow safety protocols to ensure that machinery and equipment are operated safely and that they are not a danger to themselves or others.
  • Follow the policies and procedures set by DAKRI CARTONS LTD Quality Management System [QMS]
  • Abide by Health and Safety Management Systems

Qualifications And Requirements

  • A high school diploma or equivalent is typically required, and a degree in electromechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or mechanical engineering is an advantage.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in same position

Working conditions

Normal working hours are from 07:00 to 17:00.

Required to work on Saturdays and overtime if and when needed.

You will undergo employee evaluations on a regular basis, at least once a year. The evaluation typically includes a review of how your various work duties and habits compare with expectations.

NOTE THAT REGULAR EVALUATION WILL BE PERFORMED IN ORDER TO IMPROVE OVERALL TEAM KNOWLEDGE AND PERFORMANCE
