Job Description
Geotech Engineering and Testing is currently in search of a secretary. The secretary position is an hourly position with benefits after 90-day probation period. We offer yearly evaluations, paid vacations, holidays, and sick time along with insurance coverage.
The ideal candidate will have a high energy, organized, excellent communication skills, strong writing skills, and enjoy an environment where you will be both challenged and rewarded. Candidates must be able to adapt a variety of personality types.
Responsibilities
- Must Show Up to work Monday – Friday 8am – 5pm.
- Perform clerical duties such as filing, photocopying, collating, faxing etc.
- Process all the invoices and email the Clients with updated account.
- Organizes and prioritizes large volumes of information.
- Works in cooperation with other assistants to cover phones.
- Type and designs general correspondences, memos, charts, table, graphs, business plans. Proofreads copy for spelling, grammar, and layout, making appropriate changes.
- Maintain continuity among work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs.
- Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Performs administrative duties for Project Managers and Engineers.
Requirements
- High School diploma with some college. College degree preferred but not required.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Must be able to type 45 WPM.
- Must be able to multi-task.
- Must be able to answer multi-Phone lines.
- Industry knowledge is a definite plus, but not required.
