The Role, At a Glance

The Regional Sales Manager is a sales position that combines technical expertise so as to engage with the end user, AV/ Acoustic/ ELV/ Building consultants, engineering contractors, architects and the AV integrator for the products and technology we bring.?

This is a role with a very strong technical knowledge representing Biamp, with market-leading products in the audio and video industry in our key vertical markets; Corporate, Large Venue, Hospitality, Building Infrastructure and Retail Solutions.

How You’ll Contribute

  • Manage all elements of the business relationship between Biamp and integrators in the region, consultants, end user, distributors up to the point where the product is ordered.
  • Generate leads in the market with relationship with large government agencies, Architect/PMC community,?turnkey contractors, etc.
  • Qualify incoming leads and creating proposals, quotations, and technical solutions.
  • Train and sell to integrators on all aspects of Biamp’s full system offering including Corporate, Large Venue, Transportation, Hospitality and Retail Solutions.
  • Explain and demonstrate the technological aspects of the product being marketed. Training in the field at integrators, consultants, and end-users on all aspects of Biamp’s equipment, its functions and its uses, with special emphasis on our Loudspeaker platform.
  • Design system BOQ with reference drawings and inputs provided for opportunities.
  • Maintain opportunity funnel on CRM and update them on regular basis.
  • Staff trade show booths, where appropriate.
  • Ability to give technical presentations to any level of attendee.
  • Ability to make layouts and drawings in CAD/EASE and similar programs.
  • Ability to build designs based on RFP/ DBR.
  • Manage demonstrations, product shoot outs or POC’s.
  • Other duties as assigned.

A Successful Candidate Should Have

  • A Bachelor’s degree in a technical field and a 5 or more years of experience in a related position; or the equivalent combination of education and experience.?
  • Proven team player with excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • A demonstrable customer-focused attitude with a passion to exceed client expectations and going the extra mile.

Work Environment

  • This is an onsite position based in the Dubai Silicon Oasis, UAE
  • Routine travel is anticipated for this role, both domestic and international
