Alliance Health Systems is looking for a Vice President of Human Resources to join our team. This on-site leadership position offers a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact by shaping organizational culture, enhancing employee engagement, and leading HR strategy within a dynamic and expanding healthcare organization.
Responsibilities
- Develops and implements HR strategies and initiatives that align with the organization’s business objectives. This includes, but is not limited to; programs, procedures, training, and guidelines to help align the workforce with the strategic goals of the company.
- Analyze HR operations through the use of metrics and analytics, proactively leveraging information to address any trends and improve future performance.
- Conducts a continuing study of all human resources policies, programs, and practices to keep the leadership team informed of new developments while also remaining compliant with standards and regulations in each state where we operate.
- Develop and formalize training and development programs in collaboration with department leaders in order to standardize the training and onboarding process for new hires.
- Serve as a strategic partner by working closely with upper management and leadership to attract, develop, and retain top talent.
- Oversees and supports the optimized utilization of our company HRIS system, ensuring a successful and robust company technical platform is in place, in support of our employees.
- Collaborates with Finance to coordinate use of insurance brokers, insurance carriers, benefit administrators, and other outside sources.
- Communicate and present information in an engaging and clear manner.
Qualifications
- Shared values as well as strong alignment with the organization’s mission, purpose, and plan.
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Human Resources, Business, Organization Development.
- Master’s degree in Business Administration or Human Resources preferred.
- Minimum 10 plus years of progressive leadership experience in Human Resources
- 8+ years of managing a professional HR team in a medical setting (hospital or healthcare systems preferred).
- Preference given to previous experience working in 2,000+ size organization.
- Proven experience with HRIS systems, maximizing efficiencies through technology and implementing new systems.
- PHR/SPHR or SHRM-SCP certification.
