We’re looking for a People Operations Lead to join our People Operations team for a 4 – 6+ month contract position. If you are looking for that role where you have the opportunity to showcase your HR Operations skills on a team of highly skilled HR professionals, this is the role for you!

In this role, you’ll provide support to our People Operations team. You will look for opportunities to jump in and provide strategic guidance or recommendations and help design and implement programs in support of our employees across multiple teams. This is a role for someone who is ready to roll up their sleeves and quickly find ways to add value to this growing People team. This is a remote, 4 – 6+ months contract position that will provide support while we continue to build out our People team. This role does have the potential to be extended or be a full time role for the right candidate.

Responsibilities

  • Improve efficiency, automation and upscaling processes, including supporting new or improved procedures, guidelines, tools and systems to meet the organization’s needs
  • Collaborate across the People Team to create and continuously fine-tune programs and processes such as standardization within business titles and people manager assignments
  • Support project work on our augmented headcount end to end process in collaboration with other People Team members and the IT team
  • Coordinate, communicate and report out People operational activities including cyclical and project-based assignments
  • Proactively and creatively identify and solve problems
  • Support the organization with employee related reporting, audit, and data integrity requests and initiatives
  • Perform other tasks as needed such as assisting with department wide initiatives and events

Experience and Skills

  • Minimum 4+ years in HR, People Operations or a similar role
  • Experience with various People systems (G-Suite and Oracle strongly preferred)
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work as part of a team
  • Knowledge of basic HR management practices and procedures
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Proactive and operates with an entrepreneurial mindset
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with the utmost discretion
  • Open to regular travel to events and other Fanatics offices for various offsite and team meetings

The base salary range for this role is $77,000 per year – $111,000 per year, depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
