As a freelance trainer, you will play a pivotal role in equipping learners with the knowledge and skills they need to succeed in today’s digital economy.
Key Responsibilities
- Program Delivery:
- Facilitate engaging, interactive, and practical training sessions for learners in your area of expertise.
- Deliver content in alignment with the curriculum and learning objectives for bootcamps and apprenticeship programs.
- Curriculum Adaptation:
- Tailor course materials and resources to suit the diverse needs and skill levels of learners.
- Stay updated on industry trends to ensure training content remains current and relevant.
- Learner Support:
- Provide mentorship and guidance to learners throughout their training journey.
- Monitor learner progress and offer constructive feedback to aid their development.
- Assessment and Evaluation:
- Conduct assessments, quizzes, and practical exercises to measure learner understanding and skill acquisition.
- Evaluate and document learner performance in line with program requirements.
- Collaboration:
- Work closely with the program team to ensure seamless delivery and continuous improvement of training materials.
- Participate in regular reviews and feedback sessions to enhance program quality.
- Professionalism and Compliance:
- Adhere to althaus’ standards, policies, and relevant regulatory requirements.
- Maintain a professional and inclusive learning environment that respects the diverse backgrounds of all participants.
Requirements
- Technical Expertise:
- Demonstrated expertise in one or more of the subject areas: IT, Software Development, Digital Marketing, AI, Digital Green Technologies, or Cybersecurity.
- Strong practical knowledge of tools, platforms, and methodologies relevant to your field.
- Training Experience:
- Proven experience in delivering technical training, workshops, or educational programmes, preferably to adult learners.
- Familiarity with different teaching methodologies, including blended and online learning approaches.
- Soft Skills:
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational abilities with a focus on learner outcomes and engagement.
- Qualifications:
- Relevant academic qualifications and/or industry certifications in your field of expertise.
- Teaching or training certifications (e.g., PTLLS, AET, or equivalent) are desirable but not mandatory.
- Technology Proficiency:
- Comfortable using digital tools and platforms for online delivery, such as LMSs, video conferencing tools, and collaborative software.
- Ability to troubleshoot basic technical issues to ensure smooth session delivery.
