About The Role

We’re looking for an Inventory Controller to join our Procurement and Supply Chain team. In this vital role, you’ll be responsible for managing inventory, ensuring the accurate tracking of materials and supplies, and supporting the operational needs of various departments. This position is ideal for someone with a knack for organization and a commitment to excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and review inventory levels, ensuring the right supplies are available when needed.
  • Coordinate logistics for purchase orders, deliveries, stock transfers, and tagging.
  • Inspect incoming goods for accuracy and compliance with specifications.
  • Manage inventory counts, prevent overstocking/out-of-stock situations, and maintain accurate records.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve operational efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and organizational policies.

Qualifications

  • A diploma or equivalent qualification.
  • 0–3 years of experience in a hospital or healthcare facility. Managing the process of shipping, receiving, or stockroom operations.
  • Strong organizational and mathematical skills.
  • Ability to handle and move heavy objects as part of daily tasks.
  • Proficiency in using ERP systems and familiarity with standard warehousing procedures.
  • Typical physical demands include: a high degree of manual dexterity to sufficiently perform computer functions on a keyboard, produce materials on a PC and operate basic office equipment, normal or corrected vision and hearing, operate audiovisual equipment used during training programs, physically move, lift and carry training equipment and materials, mobility sufficient to visit with departments or caregivers throughout MH, stand in front of an audience for up to eight (8) hours a day and lift up to 30 lbs.
