Customs SPV

• Lead and supervise the customs team to ensure smooth customs clearance and compliance with local, national, and international trade regulations
• Ensure proper classification of goods, determination of tariffs, and payment of duties and taxes as required.
• Coordinate with the accounting or finance department to ensure accurate record-keeping of customs-related transactions and duties paid.
• Ensure that all import and export activities are compliant with relevant regulations, including customs, trade, and tariff laws.
• Prepare regular reports on customs operations, including compliance status, issues, and

resolutions.

• Work closely with government agencies, customs brokers, and freight forwarders to

resolve any compliance issues or discrepancies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, International Trade, or a related field
• At least 5 years of experience in customs operations or logistics
• Extensive knowledge of customs laws, regulations, and tariff classifications.
• Experience with customs software and document management systems
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders.
