Position Overview
As a Finance Intern at The Coca-Cola Company, you will have the unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience and develop your skills in a fast-paced, global environment. You will support various financial activities, including financial reporting, analytics, and process improvements, while collaborating with interdisciplinary finance teams. Function Related Activities/Key Responsibilities
- Analytics:
- Design reporting solutions in Power BI to promote data quality and financial insights.
- Analyze financial trends, variances, and key performance metrics.
- Design and maintain financial models to support strategic initiatives.
- Collaboration:
- Work closely with cross-functional finance teams to ensure alignment and consistency in financial reporting.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to discussions on financial performance and strategy.
- Assist in special projects and initiatives as required.
- Process Improvement:
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance financial reporting accuracy and efficiency.
- Enhance financial reconciliation between KO IT applications and external reporting.
- Ad-hoc project based work.
- Forecast Review:
- Support the review and analysis of financial forecasts for accuracy.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to refine and validate forecasting assumptions.
- Assist in the preparation of detailed forecast reports for management review.
Education Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s is a plus) with a final graduation date no earlier than December 2025.
Functional Skills
- Strong technical skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and financial modeling.
- Experience with Power BI is required.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Curiosity and eagerness to learn and take on new challenges.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
Monthly Compensation:$4,506
