Bigeye is seeking a motivated Junior Data Analyst to join our growing analytics team. This role will provide critical support in tracking, reporting, and analyzing campaign performance data, ensuring accurate measurement and reporting for digital media campaigns. The ideal candidate will have a passion for client facing data storytelling and an eagerness to grow their expertise in digital media analytics, reporting, and performance optimization.

As a Junior Data Analyst at Bigeye, you will extract insights from data, create dashboards, and assist in reporting on key performance metrics for a variety of clients. This position will report to the VP of Media & Performance.

Responsibilities

Data Analysis & Reporting: Assist in analyzing digital media campaign data using web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager) to track campaign performance and provide insights.

Dashboards & Visualization: Support the creation and maintenance of client-facing reports and dashboards using tools like Looker Studio, ensuring that stakeholders have up-to-date performance insights.

Tag Management & Tracking: Help manage the implementation and quality assurance of tracking tags (e.g., Google Tag Manager) across websites and digital assets to ensure accurate data collection.

Campaign Monitoring: Monitor ongoing digital campaigns and alert senior team members to any significant changes in performance, providing suggestions for optimizations.

Collaborate with Teams: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including account management and creative teams, to support data needs and ensure accurate reporting.

Data Integrity: Assist in data cleaning, validation, and troubleshooting to ensure the accuracy and integrity of analytics data.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Data Science, Statistics, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

1-2 years of experience in data analysis or marketing analytics, preferably in a digital media or agency setting.

Basic knowledge of web analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics).

Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Looker Studio, Tableau, or similar.

Experience with Excel or Google Sheets (pivot tables, advanced filtering) for data manipulation and reporting.

Understanding of basic data analysis concepts, such as key performance indicators (KPIs), trends, and segmentation.

Strong attention to detail, time management, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to communicate data insights to non-technical stakeholders.

Eagerness to learn and grow within the analytics field, with a strong interest in digital media and marketing.

Preferred Qualifications

Familiarity with Google Tag Manager or other tag management platforms.

Basic knowledge of SQL or experience working with databases.

Certification in Google Analytics or similar platforms.

Exposure to A/B testing or experimentation frameworks.
