We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Group Operations Manager to join an entrepreneurial, mid-sized manufacturing company. This strategic role encompasses overseeing operations at the company’s plants in Romania and Tunisia, driving efficiency, maintaining quality standards, and cultivating a culture of continuous improvement.
GROUP OPERATIONS MANAGER – ROMANIA AND TUNISIA
Key responsibilities
- Lead the Production, Maintenance, and Equipment teams in medium-sized plants, ensuring seamless collaboration and optimal productivity.
- Optimize production processes to enhance efficiency, reduce lead times, and manage costs effectively.
- Implement and champion lean manufacturing methodologies.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, regulatory requirements, and environmental sustainability goals.
- Introduce a modern, data-driven approach with a strong focus on KPI analysis and performance tracking.
- Frequently travel between Romania and Tunisia to maintain direct oversight and presence at both sites.
Candidate Profile
- A degree in Engineering or a related scientific discipline.
- Proven experience in similar roles, such as Plant Manager or Production Manager.
- In-depth knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and their application.
- Demonstrated leadership and people management skills, with a track record of building high-performing teams.
- Fluency in English is essential; additional language skills are a plus.
