HOBAN Recruitment is seeking an experienced Graphic Designer for an EL1 level role within a dynamic government organisation. The position is available in Surry Hills (NSW).

About The Role

As an EL1 level Graphic Designer, you will:

  • Translate design thinking into impactful visual resources for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Develop innovative designs that communicate key messages and align with organisational values.
  • Ensure brand consistency across all communications and materials.
  • Create compelling visual storytelling that simplifies complex concepts.
  • Liaise with stakeholders to manage design projects from concept to completion.
  • Maintain quality control and uphold high standards for all design outputs.

About You

We’re looking for candidates with:

  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign).
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, including creating and managing shared templates.
  • Demonstrated experience in designing for digital, print, and presentations.
  • A strong understanding of brand identity and visual storytelling.
  • Excellent attention to detail and creative problem-solving skills.
  • Proven ability to manage stakeholder relationships and feedback.

Desirable Skills

  • A tertiary qualification in Graphic Design or a related field.
  • Experience working across a variety of media platforms.
