Store Executive – Plant Operations

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain optimal stock levels by conducting regular stock audits and inventory reconciliation.
  • Track inward and outward movement of goods, ensuring accurate documentation.
  • Monitor stock levels of raw materials, tools, consumables, and spare parts critical for production.
  • Collaborate with the procurement team for timely ordering of materials based on production requirements.
  • Verify quality and quantity of received materials against purchase orders.
  • Ensure proper storage of materials with clear labeling and systematic arrangement.
  • Implement best practices for material handling to prevent damage or wastage.
  • Supervise loading and unloading of goods, ensuring safety standards.
  • Maintain up-to-date records of inventory using ERP systems or other inventory management software.
  • Prepare and submit regular stock status reports and stock variance analysis.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies, including safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
  • Maintain clean, safe, and organized storage areas as per 5S and other industrial best practices.
  • Guide and supervise store assistants or helpers in day-to-day operations.
  • Collaborate with production, quality control, and logistics teams for seamless material flow.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Educational Qualification: Graduation is a must
  • Experience: 3+ years of experience in storekeeping, inventory control, or warehouse management in a manufacturing/plant environment.
