The team

This role sits in a new delivery team at the heart of ITV Marketing’s new operating model and is a crucial hire to ensure the success of our new agile way of working across the department.

As a Delivery Manager you will manage and run one of our new Pods overseeing our Marketing activity (either campaigns or always on marketing activity).

You will bring together and guide teams of people across Marketing, Media, Creative and Press to deliver effective marketing whilst removing complexity and empowering colleagues. You will create agile ways of working within your pod to get things done quickly and be adaptable; flexing your approach as required.

The role

  • Accountable for assembling working teams across Marketing, Creative, Media, Press & Publicity and our external agencies.
  • Guiding marketing activity from initiation through to delivery removing complexity and encouraging working practices that enables things to be done quickly and efficiently.
  • Responsible for ensuring all elements of our Marketing activity are being developed/delivered at the right time and within budget.
  • Create ways of working which utilise agile principles such as, daily Pod stand ups & collaboration/alignment moments whilst keeping the viewer at the heart of all we do.
  • Managing statuses and updates on campaigns as required with stakeholders.
  • Ensuring Pods evaluate all their Marketing activity and lead Pod discussions to look at how we can better achieve our Marketing Outcomes.
  • Managing the admin of campaigns e.g. raising POs, managing budgets, campaign status.

Skills you’ll need (minimum criteria)

  • Understands agile principles with ideas of how they can be used across our Marketing activity (across both upper and lower funnel).
  • Has experience working in a Marketing team either within Marketing, Media or Creative and understands how to effectively deliver Marketing activity.
  • Demonstrates a proactive approach to upskilling themselves in areas of Marketing Delivery where they are less experienced.
  • Has the ability to lead groups of people through the end to end campaign process in budget and in tight timescales.

  • Learns quickly from both successes and failures and can pivot and adjust plans to respond.
  • Is able to work with a wide variety of stakeholders effectively, in a matrixed organisation, to get things done.
  • Demonstrates an adaptable approach and is able to flex their style depending on the need.
  • Must be able to work in a fast paced environment, managing multiple projects/campaigns.
