Lecturer

The Neuroscience Program at Trinity College in Hartford, CT is hiring a long-term renewable position in neuroscience, with a start date of July 1, 2025. The successful candidate will teach a complement of five courses per academic year, covering a range of 100-, 200-, and 300-level offerings targeted to prospective and declared neuroscience majors. Specific courses to be taught include NESC 101 The Brain and PSYC 261 Brain and Behavior. The candidate will also regularly contribute to our team-taught NESC 201 Principles of Neuroscience and NESC 301 Introduction to Neuroscience Methods courses, in addition to developing a new 200-level neuroscience course in their area of interest. Furthermore, the successful candidate will advise neuroscience majors and will have the opportunity to supervise research students. Applicants must have a Ph.D. in Neuroscience (or related field), awarded prior to the time of application submission. Some postdoctoral research experience and prior experience teaching courses as the instructor of record is preferred, but not required.
