Job Description
Assist in the development and administration of compensation programs designed to recruit and retain quality employees. Write job descriptions, conduct job evaluations, participate in external salary surveys, coordinate annual bonus and merit processes and calculations, and administer other compensation-related processes. Support the Total Rewards team in the efficient and effective delivery of compensation solutions to leaders, business partners and employees. Reports to Manager of Compensation.
- Maintain and update job documentation, including job descriptions and job titles. Work with leaders to regularly write/edit job descriptions. Ensure compliance with internal standards and applicable laws and regulations.
- Serve as system administrator for compensation systems and processes, including job code and description maintenance across HR data systems. Assist in maintaining job descriptions in the applicant tracking system (ATS) for recruiting purposes.
- Maintain and update pay structures, job grades and salary ranges.
- Maintain and update annual plan documents for internal incentive/sales programs. Model incentives based on target goals and collaborate with department and corporate leadership on final approvals. Provide ongoing validation of incentive payment calculations prior to submitting for payment.
- Generate and maintain various internal employee communications related to the explanation and understanding of total rewards and compensation. Ensure all content and resources on internal company sources are kept current.
- Participate in annual compensation surveys, use resulting market data to evaluate pay for positions, and provide recommendations to leadership. Maintain compensation vendor relationships and applicable processes.
- Coordinate and administer the annual non-exempt pay evaluation increase and incentive plan payout, from developing an Excel tool for the manager to communicating the process, capturing approvals, and rolling up to payroll for payout.
- Support equity program management, including updating internal employee communications and providing system administration and user support.
- Conduct regular audits of compensation-related data, including hourly wage audits, to ensure consistency and accuracy across jobs and functions.
- Prepare ad hoc reporting in support of various data analysis and auditing needs.
- Keep abreast of compensation regulations, market conditions and compensation trends.

Education
- Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance or related field preferred or equivalent experience required
Experience
- 2+ years related experience required
- Demonstrated experience in collecting, organizing and interpreting data
- Experience navigating and reporting from technology systems that can be applied to working with HR technology (HRIS, payroll systems, marketing pricing software, salary survey applications)
