At WARP, we have a big plans to lead the way in snacking and our ambitions are global. Our two brilliant brands have already got a strong presence in international markets, but this role will be a crucial part of making our presence bigger.

The role will focus specifically on growing our key High Potential International markets across Europe on both PROPER and Eat Real, where we see big opportunities for growth over the next three years.

The Person

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced sales professional, who’s looking for their next big challenge. They should have a proven track record of building national retail customers (in UK or International markets). Some experience of working with distributors is preferable but not essential.

They will have an entrepreneurial approach to their work – able to work independently, roll-up their sleeves and get hands on to do what needs to be done at pace. Highly commercial, a strategic mindset and proven ability to build powerful, relationships, are essential. Finally, they will be proactive, results-driven, and energised by new opportunities and challenges.

The Role

In this role, you will manage key High Potential International markets across Europe on both PROPER and Eat Real, some of our most strategic partners, where we see big opportunities for growth over the next three years. Reporting to a Senior Commercial manager, you will:

  • Build and nurture strong relationships both externally with distributors and customers and internally (especially with our product, project, marketing, and supply chain teams)
  • Understand the key principals of growing a brand in a new market from the RRP and promotional plans, retail launch partners, supply chain requirements and leveraging the brand toolkits.
  • Be the voice of the brand – able to excite and inspire distributor teams to believe in the Practice Proper Snacking Mission
  • Take full ownership of the P&L throughout the value chain, ensuring effective management of internal forecasting, revenue, and profit.
  • Develop tailored customer plans, identifying opportunities to open new markets and scale our next frontiers.
  • Leverage a needs-based approach to launch at the right price, with the right range and the right plans.
  • Create and manage joint annual plans with distributors, ensuring alignment with business objectives.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in a Commercial role within FMCG or similar.
  • Preferable to have experience managing a distributor P&L
  • Experience with international customers, especially European markets such as Switzerland, Poland, Austria, is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in Excel, with the ability to analyse data and make informed decisions.
  • Ability to work from our London office a minimum of 3 days a week, with 1 trip a month visiting customers in market.
