Job Description
The Technical Field Security Contact will play a crucial role in maintaining the security integrity of field operations. This position requires a detail-oriented professional with technical expertise in advanced security technologies to support and manage security systems, ensure compliance with security protocols, and provide on-site support.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of advanced security systems, including X-rays, metal detectors, under vehicle surveillance systems, radars, thermal cameras, AI smart CCTV, and access control systems.
- Coordinate with vendors and internal teams to ensure optimal functionality and integration of these security technologies.
- Conduct regular field inspections to identify potential security vulnerabilities and recommend improvements across all deployed systems.
- Implement risk mitigation strategies in alignment with company policies and industry best practices.
- Ensure compliance with corporate security policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare and submit detailed security reports and incident documentation to management.
- Provide technical support and guidance to field teams on security systems, ensuring effective use of X-rays, CCTV, and other advanced tools.
- Develop and deliver training sessions to enhance security awareness and protocols among staff.
- Act as the primary contact for all field security maintenance activities, ensuring timely and effective resolution of maintenance issues.
- Schedule and perform routine maintenance checks, upgrades, and repairs on all security systems to ensure continuous operation.
- Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies related to advanced security systems to enhance security measures.
- Propose innovative solutions to improve efficiency and effectiveness in security operations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, or a related field; or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience in a similar technical security role, with expertise in X-rays, metal detectors, under vehicle surveillance systems, radars, thermal cameras, AI SMART CCTV, and access control systems.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently under pressure.
- Strong ability to communicate effectively in English, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively convey technical information to non-technical audiences.
- Ability to travel to various field locations as required.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Security certifications such as CPP, PSP, or CISSP are a plus.
