Are you ready to play a pivotal role in driving continuous improvement at Virgin Atlantic?

As a key member of the Operations team, you’ll manage a portfolio of continuous improvement programmes, chair the Continuous Improvement Governance process, and work closely with various departments to identify and implement improvement opportunities. This role goes beyond traditional project management, focusing on hands-on continuous improvement initiatives that directly support critical business objectives.

In this key position, you’ll explore Virgin Atlantic’s operational ecosystem, leveraging continuous improvement methodologies to identify areas for enhancement and drive tangible improvements in customer experience and operational efficiency. Your strong relationship management and analytical skills will empower you to influence senior stakeholders, enhance their capabilities, and align continuous improvement strategies with broader business goals—all while managing diverse stakeholders.

You’ll work closely with a variety of Customer & Operational teams, data analysis, and technology teams to ensure seamless integration of continuous improvement initiatives with our operational infrastructure. This collaboration will be central to aligning continuous improvement with Virgin Atlantic’s broader business needs.

Leading high-impact projects, you’ll blend technical expertise with strategic vision, presenting data-driven recommendations to senior leadership and ensuring our continuous improvement efforts remain cutting-edge. Day to day

  • Support the development of the company’s continuous improvement strategy within Customer & Operations and lead the implementation of continuous improvement projects.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and analyse business requirements.
  • Drive the development and enhancement of continuous improvement methodologies and techniques.
  • Facilitate the seamless completion of continuous improvement projects while offering guidance on effective approaches

About you

  • Proven track record of successfully leading and implementing continuous improvement projects and/or driving business outcomes.
  • Strong experience in continuous improvement, including data analysis, project management, and change management.
  • Exceptional leadership and communication skills to effectively collaborate with individuals at all levels of the organisation.
  • Strict attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Experience in the travel airline or hospitality industry, with an understanding of a complex operational environment is preferred.
