Supply Chain ManagerDuties and responsibilities:

Maintains

and develops supply chain policies, and procedures, and ensures their

implementation on the whole department business.

Review and updates the vendor list regularly and

part of GPS vendor master data.

Manages the negotiation prices with supplier

based on project size, manual agreement and ensure suppliers products are

quality and delivery reliable is on acceptable standards.

Works towards having alternative sources of

supply and at same time simplify vendor to ensure consistent quality by

developing long term supplier collaboration.

Monitors and update inventory levels outside

warehouse and internal work with Production, Project Managers and Cost

controller closely, suggest improvements to increase efficiency of supply

chain to maintain costs below budget and maximize working capital.

Manages the delivery of raw material prices with

suppliers, vendors, and/or shipping companies to land more profitable

deals based on a cash flow position received from finance on fortnightly

basis.

Monitors the performance of suppliers, assessing

their ability to meet quality and delivery requirements; identifies and

qualifies new suppliers in collaboration with other departments.

Read and comprehend legal documents, such as

contracts or import/export agreements.

Develops and maintains the details inventory of

materials and supplies located in the company, sites, and factory.

Planning and ensure availability of the raw

glass, PVB & all other materials for the work orders that are being

released to shop floor taking into consideration the delivery schedule of

the project/ work order.

Review the minimum stock level for all Key

Materials and consumables on a quarterly basis along with Warehouse and

stores in charge. And make recommendation.

Record & review all quality related NCRs for

raw glass rejections and

Third Party rejections in a tracker and report the same

on monthly basis and ensure replacement stay in ordered as required.

Put an action plan with Project Manager,

Production, Warehouse in charge to review the storage and reduce

non-moving materials, to ensure material

does not become non-usable.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s

Degree in supply chain management/ Business Administration.

10- 15 years’ experience in

purchasing building, warehouse, and material industry, with at least 1

year of heading a purchase function.

Working knowledge in MS-Office (Excel,

Word & PowerPoint)Languages
