Manager, National Accounts – (Open to remote)

We are seeking a dynamic, data-driven, results oriented Amazon/Online National Accounts Manager. The National Accounts Manager oversees all aspects of selling Penguin Random House Publisher Services Children’s Book products to Amazon/Online Accounts. Your goal will be to drive the discoverability and ultimately, sales for our titles. This position will work closely with all the PRHPS children’s publishers and the PRHPS sales team.

Responsiblities:

• Manage the day-to-day relationship with digital retail accounts on behalf of our PRHPS Children’s Publishers.
• Develop and execute strategies to maximize sales at our key online accounts, with a particular focus on Amazon.com. This includes analyzing sales data, requesting and reviewing orders in detail, and identifying opportunities for growth.
• Set up merchandising, identify Best of the Month opportunities, create and present seasonal preview presentations.
• Understand and manage publisher priorities for both new and upcoming title lists, as well as backlist opportunities .
• Forecast physical demand across frontlist and backlist titles, ensuring optimal inventory levels for our online partners.
• Be a central point of contact for all information related to our online accounts, ensuring seamless communication with internal and external partners
• Attend and participate in meetings with the ability to share ideas and opportunities to grow the business
• Be available to handle any issues that may arise on a daily basis.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years prior sales or related experience, including directly interacting with accounts. The ideal candidate will have at least two – three years experience selling Amazon.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to interact with colleagues across all levels of an organization
• Highly comfortable working with numbers and analyzing data .
• Experience with MS Office – strong Excel skills a must. Candidate must know how to do V Look Up/X Look Up and pivot tables.
• Ability and interest in learning new technologies
• Knowledge and experience working with online and social media marketing
• Self-starter with strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines on multiple projects with attention to detail ?
• Ability to quickly adapt to changing priorities and generate solutions in a fast-paced environment

The salary range for this role is $73,500 – $83,500. All positions are currently eligible for annual profit award or bonus, subject to Company results.
