Survey Analyst
Job Description
Reporting to the Senior Director Research & Operations, the Survey Analyst plays a pivotal role in helping Resonate’s Survey Operations succeed in the creation and distribution of syndicated and custom research. This role is critical to ensuring the success of Resonate’s research initiatives by supporting survey design, question writing, data collection, and documentation processes.
This person will contribute to executing a comprehensive research strategy that provides Resonate with the resources, knowledge, and tools needed to achieve team and company goals. The Survey Analyst will also collaborate closely with Product and Engineering teams to align contributions to the Research Roadmap, ensuring strong integration of research with product development.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the creation and execution of survey research, including writing effective survey questions, setting up surveys, monitoring their performance, and aligning with Research deadlines
- Work with panel vendors to ensure survey velocity and quota management
- Collaborate with senior team members to manage taxonomies and data standards for consistency and accuracy across research projects
- Document research processes, methodologies, and findings to support internal knowledge sharing and operational efficiency
- Perform basic analyses of survey results and contribute insights to support strategic decision-making
- Support the Research Roadmap by coordinating efforts with cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment with product and engineering priorities
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in survey research and data analysis to enhance both personal development and team capabilities
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years’ experience (professional or post graduate) in survey design, including best practices for question writing, data collection, and statistical methods
- Familiarity with survey platforms (Beacon, Qualtrics, etc.) and basic taxonomy management.
- Experience with advanced features of Microsoft Excel (vlookup, pivot tables, etc.)
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to document processes and manage multiple tasks effectively
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team setting and communicate effectively with team members
- Passion for learning new tools, techniques, and methods in research and data analysis, with the motivation to expand technical knowledge
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality in all work
- Proactive and self-motivated, with a willingness to take on new challenges
- Effective communicator who thrives in a collaborative, team-based environment
- Bachelor’s degree (Statistics, Psychology, Economics, or another quantitative discipline)
