We leverage cloud-based systems to streamline our operations and are looking for a Quality Analyst (ICT) professional.
Job Description
The successful candidate will be responsible for testing, evaluating and improving the performance and reliability of our ICT systems. You will ensure compliance with quality standards, test software and systems, and develop corrective actions for any identified issues.
Key Responsibilities Selection Criteria
Systems Inventory and Assessment:
Compile and document an inventory of all ICT systems and subscriptions utilised across the organisation.
Evaluate the performance, functionality, and usage of each system to identify underused or redundant resources.
Conduct thorough testing (manual and automated) to ensure the systems meet functional requirements.
Workflow Analysis And Optimisation
Analyse existing business workflows to identify inefficiencies and recommend process improvements that enhance system integration and functionality.
Conduct performance and load testing to evaluate system response times and scalability.
Quality Assurance And Compliance
Develop and implement quality assurance processes to assess the efficiency, functionality, and performance of ICT systems.
Perform regular audits to ensure compliance with internal quality standards and external industry regulations.
Document, track, and manage defects or issues, ensuring resolution and verification of fixes.
Integration And Automation
Ensure seamless interaction between various ICT systems to support cohesive business operations, testing their integration for accuracy and reliability.
Recommend and implement automation tools to enhance system performance and optimise testing processes.
Stakeholder Communication And Training
Collaborate with administrators and users to communicate system performance, quality metrics, and testing results.
Develop and deliver training programs to enhance staff proficiency with current and new technologies, ensuring proper usage of ICT systems.
Cost Optimisation
Identify opportunities to reduce costs by eliminating unnecessary subscriptions and consolidating services, while maintaining system performance and quality.
Recommend cost-effective alternatives where applicable, ensuring they meet quality standards and business needs.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
Proven experience in ICT quality assurance, systems testing, or a related role.
Strong understanding of cloud-based systems, software testing methodologies (manual and automated), and integration.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
Familiarity with automation tools and testing frameworks
