PARTS SUPERVISOR.

Stephen James BMW has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Parts Supervisor to join the Bromley Aftersales team. This is a great opportunity to develop your career with one of the world’s most admired brands in the automotive industry.

YOUR ROLE.

As the Parts Supervisor you will be overseeing the Parts Department, ensuring efficient inventory management, and providing exceptional customer service. Your role will involve coordinating with various departments, managing a small team, and maintaining accurate records.

You will assist your department in achieving the budget and BMW parts purchase target every month as well as adhering to all BMW / MINI UK contractual standards.

The main duties of the role include.

  • Assist in leading the daily operations of the Parts Trade Retail Teams, providing excellent customer service and support to both internal and external customers.
  • Monitor, analyse, and report on department performance.
  • Ensure effective stock control and warehouse management.
  • Maintain and manage quarterly stock checks and provisions.
  • Manage budget forecast accurately and control expenses.
  • Manage supplier relationships and service levels.

YOUR PROFILE.

  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent organisational and multitasking skills
  • Ability to develop rapport and trust with customers and to resolve conflict situations calmly and reasonably.
  • Proven experience as a senior parts advisor or in a similar role.

SALARY AND HOURS.

Basic salary: £33,000 with an OTE of £40,000 per annum

Monday-Friday, 8am-6pm or 7.30am-5.30pm, and Saturdays, 8am-2pm, on a rota basis (currently, 1 in 3) to be paid as additional hours.
