AutoCAD Drafter
Job Description
The Dupps Company is currently seeking a skilled CAD Drafter to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating detailed technical drawings and plans using various CAD software. This role requires a strong understanding of design principles and the ability to collaborate with others to bring concepts to life. The CAD Drafter will play a crucial role in ensuring accuracy and efficiency in the design process.
Duties/Responsibilities
- Design work utilizing 3D CAD software.
- Creation of detailed Engineering Drawings with proper GD&T.
- Collaborate with Product Engineering to update drawings and designs.
- Part creation and structuring in ERP system. (Epicor experience a plus)
- Manufacturing support regarding design and part structure.
- Process Engineering Change Requests.
- 2D to 3D CAD conversion
- Other duties as assigned
Skills
- Strong math and analytical skills
- Ability to meet deadlines
- Knowledge of engineering design principals
Education/Experience
- Certificate or associate’s degree in CAD
- Minimum of 2+ years’ experience with 3D CAD design of Mechanical Equipment
