PulseForge expertise and technology free designers from current production limitations while using significantly less energy and reducing material and chemical waste.

Your Opportunity – Qualified candidates will be responsible for documenting assemblies to ready them for manufacturing. In this role, you will be expected to work from existing 3d assembly models, part models, and wiring diagrams to create printable and digital drawings used during the manufacturing of complex electromechanical equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Work directly with engineers and technicians to capture and document the design intent of mechanical assemblies
  • Create 3d exploded models, 2d drawings, and work instructions for existing products
  • Create 2d drawings of existing point-to-point wiring and cable designs
  • Apply standards of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing
  • Understand and implement principles of Design for Manufacturability
  • Restructure and maintain Bills of Material for manufacturing efficiency
  • Work hands-on with as-built prototypes and manufactured articles to record manufacturing and inspection steps
  • Work in an office environment with frequent communications with the manufacturing floor
  • Assist with other related jobs as directed

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of 3d and 2d CAD experience (Inventor, AutoCAD Electrical Preferred)
  • Hands-on experience with mechanical and electromechanical assemblies
  • Experience creating manufacturing drawings of assemblies
  • Ability to use common hand tools
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
