Are you skilled with business intelligence tools and project management?
Our Lead Business Analyst serves within the IT division in the Systems Integration in Columbia. This role will analyze business unit needs regarding data from agency mission essential applications. In conjunction with the Director of Systems Integration, aid in streamlining multiple agency processes through system integration and report/dashboard creation. This position will detail what the business units (customers) want in relation to system integration activities.
An ideal candidate will work effectively with others toward a common goal and be adaptable. This role performs under limited supervision.
Key Responsibilities
The Lead Business Analyst will:
- Plan for and participate in integration projects consisting of technical and non-technical staff to identify business unit needs, functional requirements, and design of reports/dashboards and system integration initiatives.
- Documenting integration testing results according to a prescribed methodology; assuring documentation is clear, logical, and in user-friendly terms.
- In collaboration with various stakeholders, define and establish goals and objectives for system integration activities.
- Develop the department of information technology business requirement process, to include establishing a methodology and required artifacts.
- Performs job delivery and/or performance with positive or appropriate customer service delivery to clients, the public, and co-workers as an integral requirement.
- Ensure data privacy and system security compliance for all operations are integrated into the system integration and reporting function of the department of information technologies.
- Utilize excellent communication (written/verbal), presentation, facilitation, and organizational skills and pay close attention to detail.

Minimum And Additional Requirements
Education and Experience
A bachelor’s degree in communications, business administration, information technology, mathematics, statistics, management information science or a related field and experience in telecommunications, data processing and/or information technology. Relevant experience may substitute for the bachelor’s degree on a year-for-year basis.
Additional Requirements
Position may require employee to work evenings and weekends.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with gathering requirements, particularly around Information Technology projects.
