Summary

The purpose of this job is to assist Maintenance Controllers by providing them with administrative support and assistance that essentially frees the Controllers up to work on more pressing technical issues. This pressure relief further serves as a safety measure to ensure that the Maintenance Controllers do not become task saturated, and thus preventing human factor related errors from occurring.

Preferred Requirements

  • Knowledgeable is general office duties, must have excellent telephone skills, and be able to work efficiently under pressure.
  • Excellent computer skills, including Outlook 2013, with experience working with Word, Excel, and Power Point presentations.

b Duties

  • Handles all travel arrangements for technician road trips.
  • At the direction of MC, sends out Maintenance Control Orders (MCO) to all Allegiant Bases.
  • Interacts with Allegiant Maintenance bases to obtain more timely aircraft status updates.
  • Continually monitors and updates the AIS Maintenance Flow
  • At the direction of MC makes vendor call-outs and completes the PO request form to satisfy SOX requirements.
  • Reconciles the daily delay report and completes the MIR process for out station delays.
  • Assists the Manager and Supervisors of Maintenance Control with completion of the monthly MC self-audit.
  • Attends all maintenance status meetings and updates MC and the AIS flow as required.
  • Maintains a separate MC Admin daily call and activity log
  • Actively updates the OCC internal instant messaging portal (jabber updates)
  • Assists the Maintenance Controller with in preparation distribution of the daily Status Report
  • Other duties as assigned

Office – While performing the duties of this job, the Team Member is regularly required to stand, sit, talk, hear, see, reach, stoop, kneel, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer, key board, printer, and phone. May be required to lift, push, pull, or carry up to 20 lbs. May be required to work various shifts/days in a 24-hour situation. Regular attendance is a requirement of the role. Exposure to moderate noise (i.e. business office with computers, phones, printers, and foot traffic), temperature and light fluctuations. Ability to work in a confined area as well as the ability to sit at a computer terminal for an extended period of time. Some travel may be a requirement of the role.
