As of January 1, 2025, the new salary range will be $43,811 – $70,098

Longleaf Neuro-Medical Treatment Center (LMNTC) is currently looking for a full-time night shift ( 8:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m.) Police Officer.Â

The Police Officer’s responsibilities include:Â

Patrolling all facilities to ensure the safety of clients, staff, visitors, and property.Â

Enforcing motor vehicle laws, policies, and procedures.Â

Responding to emergencies, and determining appropriate actions as required.Â

Managing crime scenes and following proper procedures in the handling, collection, documentation, and storage of evidence. Obtain criminal processes and search warrants; prepares incident reports; SBI lab forms, grand jury packets and other documents that may be required.Â

Appear in court and testify as needed in criminal proceedings.Â

Conduct searches for elopement.Â

Respond to and control situations that involve violent and/or disruptive behaviors exhibited by visitors, staff and/or clients. Respond to burglar alarms, fire alarms, EMS calls and other emergency calls within jurisdiction.Â

Demonstrated experience in law enforcement.High school or General Educational Development (GED) diploma.Â

Necessary Special Qualifications: 1. Must complete all requirements for an NC Probationary Law Enforcement Certification, including completion of Basic Law Enforcement Training, in accordance with the provisions of the North Carolina Criminal Justice Education and Training Standards Commission within one year of employment. 2. Must be at least 20 years of age. 3. Possession of a valid NC Driver’s License.
