What You Will Do
We are seeking a full-time recruiter to help build and grow our exceptional team. In this role, you will lead the process of sourcing, interviewing, and hiring top talent for Richmond Community Services. You will be responsible for identifying professionals who align with our organizational culture and mission. The ideal candidate will be a proactive and driven individual with experience in full-cycle recruitment, who thrives on finding the right talent to contribute to our collaborative team.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the recruitment process from sourcing to selection, ensuring candidates are aligned with job requirements and organizational culture.
- Research and attend local job fairs and events at colleges and other community organizations to engage potential candidates.
- Expand talent pools by proactively networking and conducting site visits at local institutions.
- Screen resumes, conduct interviews, and evaluate candidates for quality and culture fit.
- Assist with pre-employment processes including background checks and reference verifications.
- Analyze and refine recruitment strategies and processes as needed to continuously improve candidate selection.
- Maintain organized records of each candidate’s progress through the selection process.
Qualifications
- 2-4 years of recruitment experience, ideally in the healthcare or social services sector.
- Passion for recruiting and building teams that support meaningful work.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to relate effectively to candidates and team members.
- Technologically proficient with applicant tracking systems, job boards, and Microsoft Office applications.
Requirements
- Ability to travel within and around Westchester County for recruitment events.
- A strong desire to learn and stay updated on best recruitment practices.
- Strong time management and prioritization skills, with the ability to work independently and effectively.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
