- Register guests & assigns rooms and maintain room status tracking
- Maintain a detailed knowledge of hotels services and hours of operations. Provide courteous service ; respond promptly and tactfully to guest complaints / requests ensuring complete follow up, action and revert to the guest.
- Coordinate rooms status updates to housekeeping department of check-outs, late check-out, early check-ins, special requests.
- Maintain Registration card. Ensure that C forms are generated.
- Ensure the procedure is followed while handling scanty baggage guests and walk-in guest safety guarding payments.
- Ensure all credit card signed imprints, Travel Agent voucher & gift vouchers are safely stored.
- Ensure that the charges to guest folios are posted and keep the supporting bill in order.
- Attends to departmental and other hotel training and also participates in all social / welfare activities conducted by the hotel.
- Ensure arrival/ departure timings are sent to housekeeping well in advance.
- Takes up any other responsibility entrusted by Management.
