Health & Wellness Teacher cum Special Educator

Roles And Responsibilities
- Identifying the students with learning / emotional / behavioural concerns in the classroom for all the grades from 1-12
- Creating Individualized Education / Counselling Plans for the special needs children
- Conducting individual, group sessions and providing in class support for students which needs help
- Conducting workshops for Children, Parents, Teachers
- Provide counselling to all the stakeholders involved with the children under treatment- parents, teachers, shadow teachers, outsourced centres, and other allied therapists
- Create and maintain a database of all the cases on a monthly basis
- Refer for outsourced assessments as and when required post approvals from the Department
- Achieve the goals set for the year
- Create aids and other resources for working with the children under treatment
- Assist with the admissions of special needs children along with the IEC
- Assist with the invigilation and provisions for the special needs children
- Reporting to Inclusive Education cell (IEC) Mumbai for an action plan for the school
- Meetings with the Hub In charge on a monthly basis to maintain a follow up for all the cases under treatment
- Monitoring the pre-primary students for any concerns along with the Hub In charge
- The Wellness Teachers need to take a minimum one session in a week for the identified cases in therapy and conduct maximum 15 life skill sessions in a week
