Job Responsibilities
- To assist the Company Secretary in all aspects of company secretarial duties and functions and to ensure compliance with the relevant statutory requirements, regulations and guidelines.
- To organize, co-ordinate and attend various meetings of the companies and to prepare minutes thereof.
- To provide advice and guidance on matters relating to secretarial practice and compliance to Board Members, colleagues and such other relevant parties, whenever required.
- To liaise with various regulators with regards to company secretarial and compliance matters.
- To supervise and provide guidance to subordinates in the Secretarial Department.
- To assist in any ad-hoc assignments or other related functions of the Secretarial Department as and when required.
Requirements
- ICSA qualification or equivalent and a member of MAICSA.
- Minimum 8-10 years relevant working experience in company secretarial practice in a large organization, including exposure in public listed companies.
- Familiar and well versed with all the applicable statutory requirements, regulations and guidelines relevant to company secretarial practice.
- Proficient in both written and spoken English and computer literate.
- Good interpersonal, organizational, communication and time management skills and ability to interact at all levels.
- Hardworking, possess a positive attitude and able to work independently with minimum supervision.
- Pro-active, confident, a team player with a strong sense of responsibility, high standards of integrity and possess the drive for self-development.
