Remote Elementary Teacher for Special Education | WFH

We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Elementary Special Education Teacher to join our team and work with students in autism-specific classrooms in the Spencer, Massachusetts area. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to meet the distinctive needs of each student.
• Establish and maintain a structured, nurturing, and positive classroom atmosphere that encourages academic and social development.
• Collaborate with paraprofessionals, speech therapists, occupational therapists, and other staff members to deliver an all-encompassing educational experience.
• Engage in regular communication with families to provide updates on student progress, discuss strategies, and address any concerns.
• Monitor student progress through consistent assessments and adapt teaching strategies to ensure ongoing growth and success.
• Provide direct instruction and support to students both individually and in small groups.

Qualifications

• Must fulfill the state credential requirements to teach special education in Massachusetts.
