Rotation/Shifts
Days and evenings, including weekends, 8 hour shifts.

Basic Requirements
- Master’s degree in Physiotherapy OR equivalent program recognized by the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario (CPO);
- Registered with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario (RHPA);
- Maintain licensing in good standing with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario (CPO);
- Successful completion of registration and examination process for physiotherapy as set by the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario (CPO);
- Advanced clinical assessment skills;
- Superior complex decision-making skills, judgement, and problem-solving abilities, to deal effectively with change
- Superior written, verbal communication skills and interpersonal skills, experience with electronic information and communications systems;
- Advanced knowledge of the consultation process as they relate to individuals, groups or systems;
- Ability to monitor, evaluate and document outcomes of decisions and interventions;
- Ability to work within a team in an interdisciplinary setting, experience collaborating with internal and external stakeholders;
- Superior organizational, prioritization, planning, time management skills and ability to multi-task;
- NVCI Training
- Minimum 2 years of previous related experience in in-patient provision of physiotherapy services;
- Familiarity with subacute settings (eg. complex continuing care);
- Working knowledge of regulatory standards set by licensing board (CPO);
- Must be eligible to work in Canada;
Preferred Qualifications
- Minimum five years’ experience in an acute care setting;
- Experience in adult rehabilitation/subacute settings;
- Experience in subacute settings (eg. complex continuing care);
- Canadian Physiotherapy Association Membership ;
- Eligible for Certification in CPR and/or First Aid;
- Demonstrates skills in teaching and superior presentation skills;
- Demonstrated professional leadership, innovation, team building, mentorship;
- Knowledge of the health care delivery system;
- Knowledge of legislation, acts and regulations such as Health Care Consent Act, Subsitite Decisions Act, privacy legislation;
- Proficiency in English and French – oral expression (advanced level) and comprehension (advanced level)
