This is an exciting opportunity to work as part of our “Outstanding Team” in the Children’s Community Specialist Nursing Service caring for children across Cambridgeshire.
We are looking for a Clinical Practice Educator to join our dynamic team, that covers the whole of Cambridgeshire delivering the highest quality care to make a difference to children and young people requiring nursing care in their communities. Children benefit from the expertise of the hospital in the comfort and safety of their own environment, and you will have the opportunity to lead on education in the service.
We are looking for a passionate paediatric nurse who is enthusiastic about individual and service development, and motivated by providing the highest quality of care to our families.
You will be an experienced mentor/educator, experience of community work would be an advantage as well as experience, knowledge and understanding of working alongside other agencies and professionals, with excellent communication skills.
This role will give you the opportunity to assist with the development of Community Nursing within Cambridgeshire, as well as being supported in your own personal development.

The post will be essential to leading on the training and development need of the Children’s Community Specialist Nursing Service, ensuring the needs of the patients and families are placed at the centre of care delivery, providing a visible presence within the clinical area and achieving Trust and national standards for clinical quality, safety and patient knowledge and experience.
